The F-9AX is Ian Farrier’s design that presaged the production Corsair F-31. F9As are boats that are comfortable on their trailers but still capable of very impressive sailing performance both upwind and off the wind. They can comfortably accommodate 2 couples while pleasantly exploring the shallowest coastal anchorages and make long, fast, passages. The F9AX has a slightly wider main hull.
