Well-Equipped Gulfstar 41 Ketch - Perkins Diesel, Updated Portlights, Cruiser Ready This 1973 Gulfstar 41 Center Cockpit Ketch, "Wind Junkie," is a well-equipped cruising sailboat with a solid reputation for offshore capability and a comfortable liveaboard layout. Powered by a Perkins 4.108 diesel engine with less than 1,600 hours, the engine is known for its reliability and longevity and is reported by the seller to start and run well. The vessel is set up for practical cruising with a balanced ketch rig and manageable sail plan. The sails and rigging are in good overall condition, with the standing rigging, chainplates, and running rigging inspected and replaced over time as needed. The genoa includes a sacrificial strip that may eventually need replacement, but the sail itself still has substantial life remaining, along with the rest of the sail inventory. On deck, the boat has been thoughtfully upgraded for durability and safety.
