Description

Fortuna was built in 1990 to German Lloyd class 3 standard by Kuipers, the Netherlands 'Rolls Royce' of steel yacht builders. A book of photos will be handed over to the buyer. She is an ocean going sailing yacht (cutter rig, in-mast main furling) with a centre cockpit and massive tankage (750L fuel and 900L water) perfect for long cruises with a small crew. The fair round-bilge steel hull has the appearance of glass fibre. She is extremely sea worthy with watertight bulkheads fore and aft. There is a glass fibre bimini with a complete (new) cockpit tent which can also be partially used at sea in inclement weather to give a protected 'wheelhouse'. She has been very lightly used by the present owner since 2005 and since that date she has always been yard maintained. E...
