Description

MS Sula – A Classic Norwegian Expedition & Liveaboard Vessel. MS Sula is a characterful and historic expedition vessel offering unforgettable nature experiences in Northern Norway. She is especially renowned for her orca and whale safari expeditions in Arctic waters, providing guests with rare and intimate encounters with marine wildlife. History and Background MS Sula was built in 1967 by Georg Eides Sønner AS in Høylandsbygd, Norway. For many years, she served as a working vessel for the Norwegian Coastal Administration, maintaining navigation aids and lighthouses along the rugged Norwegian coastline. In 2006, the vessel was acquired by Olav Magne Strømsholm, founder of Orca Norway / Strømsholmen Sjøsportcenter, and carefully converted into a liveaboard expedition vessel dedicated to whale and orca experiences in Arctic Norway.
