Description

The Banjer 37, with its iconic and instantly recognisable silhouette, has a dedicated following. Built in the early days of GRP production boatbuilding, the hull and decks are heavily over-engineered. The interiors, constructed in the same robust manner using the finest hardwoods and finished in a classic style, provide a comfortable and welcoming below-decks living space. PELICAN was previously owned by a master mariner who spent a lifetime at sea in the Merchant Navy and completed extensive re-fitting works throughout his ownership. Purchased by her current owner in 2020 she has benefited from some futher upgrading in recent years, including a re-working of the wheelhouse layout and some very robust, custom fabricated davits. Now offered for sale as her current owner looks to retire from boating she is offered for sale with an extensive inventory including: Full osmosis treatment in 2016/17 CopperBot antifouling applied in 2017 Perkins 6354 marine diesel engine, fully re-built in 2008 Extensive selection of engine spares Sterntube and propshaft replaced in 2008 Steering rams re-built in 2019 Diesel tanks drained and cleaned in 2018 Water tanks drained, cleaned and epoxy coated in 2008 Mastervolt charger and invertor Raymarine Axiom 9+ chart plotter (2024) Koden CVS-118 Fishfinder Furuno radar Philips AP Navigator and Furuno GP32 GPS systems Icom IC-M601 DSC VHF Handheld VHF Webasto diesel fired blown-air heating LP Marine gas cooker Jabsco manual marine toilet New main mast was fitted in 2008 Full standing rigging replacement in 2008 Lofrans electric windlass E-Propulsion Spirit+ electric outboard (2021) Inflatable dinghy Custom-fabricated stainless steel davits (2022) Wintering ashore in Balvicar Boatyard, near Oban the Banjer 37 PELICAN is available for immediate viewing by prior appointment.
