Description

This Rånäsjulle is a modern copy of a 1921 original, built by Johan Andersson. It was molded from a boat owned by sailmaker Harald Karlsson, known for its excellent seaworthiness. Built in 2022-2023 by Lilla Kålvik Båtbyggeri (8th and 9th generation boat builders), it features an 80x80 mm iron beam under the oak keel for stability, eliminating internal ballast. Constructed entirely of oak with juniper-pinned frames and traditional gray-painted pine floors. Propulsion is a Torqeedo Travel 1103 electric outboard with a long shaft, integrated 915 Wh battery, and two additional 915 Wh batteries. Also comes with an unbraked boat trailer. Sails include mainsail (sprit sail), jib, and topsail. Features a sprit pole, top pole divided in the middle, and a harbor cover.
