Description
HistoriaOriginalet till jullen byggdes 1921 av Johan Andersson på Rånäs åt en fiskare. På senare år ägdes jullen av segelmakaren Harald Karlsson som sytt många segel till allmogebåtar. Harald ansåg att jullen hade mycket bra sjöegenskaper så när hon började bli gammal föreslog han Lilla Kålvik att malla av henne. Denna julle är alltså en kopia av Johan Andersons ursprungliga Rånäsjulle. Den enda avvikelse som gjorts på varvets rekommendation är att förse jullen med en 80x80 mm järnbalk fäst under ekkölen. Därmed slipper man invändig barlast. Hon har genom detta blivit mycket stabil och familjevänlig. Lilla KålvikJullen är byggd på Lilla Kålvik Båtbyggeri nära Mollösund. Varvet drivs av mamma Christina, båtbyggare i åttonde generationen och sonen Johnny, båtbyggare i nionde generationen. Kölen restes under hösten 2022 och leveransen skedde i juni 2023. Jullen är byggd helt i ek med spanten enepinnade. Durkar i furu gråmålade enligt tradition. Till jullen hör en elutombordare som hängs upp på styrbords låring med ett beslag som fästs i en tolleklamp. Elmotorn är försedd med två extra batterier.
