Description
The Hallberg-Rassy 44 heralded a new era of the renowned Swedish cruising yachts. Frers latest thinking in hull design was incorporated in the Hallberg-Rassy theme; broader sections aft improved light airs and downwind sailing performance, the deep sections of her centre section and deep fore foot retain the comfort at sea associated with Hallberg-Rassy yachts, and the optimised waterline length gives great passage making speeds. The hull shape provides more space below deck, and SPRINGTIDE has 3 sleeping areas, a traditional "V" cabin with infill making the forward cabin a versatile twin or double. Moving aft is the bunk cabin offering two full-size berths that make excellent passage-making berths. A generously proportioned heads/shower compartment is shared by two cabins ahead of the saloon. Through the saloon with two luxurious armchairs to starboard and an "L" shaped sofa to port, past a well-proportioned chart table and linear galley with ample stowage and work surface, we arrive at the aft cabin. This is the master cabin with a centerline queen-sized berth, a small sofa to port and a dressing table to starboard. With two hanging lockers, various smaller lockers and shelves, there is fabulous stowage in this cabin. The-en suit heads/shower compartment boasts stowage above and below the wash hand basin and an acrylic screen separating the shower area. But the real value in SPRINGTIDE is her condition, specification and availability. This yacht could pass for a new yacht but has the advantage of just under two thousand miles worth of sorting out what snagging list there was. She is full push-button sailing with upgraded sails, upgraded electrics with a diesel genset, charger/inverter and extra battery capacity. This yacht represents a significant saving on a new HR44 and is in commission, available for immediate delivery. Please look at SPRINGTIDE's extensive inventory and arrange a viewing through our offices at Hamble Point Marina.
