Description

Broker’s Comments The CK 70 is a fantastic platform for cruising and sailing in all waters. She is robust and with her aluminium construction is suitable for cold water cruising if required. She has massive deck space and lots of room for toys. Her main saloon is vast and her 4 guest cabins plus crew make her suitable for either a private or charter role. She is also virtually new and great value. Builder’s Comments This catamaran, designed for ocean cruising, offers a maximum of space for the comfort of its guests. This aluminium catamaran is an all latitudes sailing. The CK 70 surprises with the comfort on board, the ease of manoeuvring and the robustness. The aluminium construction is its major asset which makes it an exception in solidity and safety, in order to fully enjoy the pleasures of navigation and life on board. This catamaran is a four-cabin version, which guarantees spacious and comfortable private spaces. A well-equipped and very functional open U-shaped galley is adjacent to a large and friendly saloon to enjoy ample space for life on board. The chart table is equipped with an electric engine control and powerful navigation instruments that facilitate navigation. Two comfortable crew cabins in the forward peaks have independent access. The spacious and friendly exterior spaces invite you to relax. The large and inviting aft cockpit is an ideal space for dining or entertaining. The spacious flybridge is equipped with a helm station with a 360 degrees view is an asset for the skipper as well as for the guests, who will be able to accompany him on top of the ship to admire the sea and enjoy the sun. The roof allows the installation of a good number of solar panels as an energy source. The Advantages of Aluminium Construction Strength & Lightness: Aluminium construction makes it possible to obtain hulls and superstructures that are both very strong and light. Moreover, thanks to its exceptional resistance qualities, an aluminium hull can withstand shocks more easily than a polyester hull. As a result, an aluminium boat is safer, and particularly suitable for open sea sailing. Durability: Aluminium also offers the advantage of unparalleled durability. Little maintenance is required and the structure does not deteriorate over the years. An aluminium boat has no limit to its life span. High Corrosion Resistance: Aluminium has been used in the marine industry for many years and has always demonstrated its resistance to corrosion and structural fatigue. The current state of knowledge does not allow us to determine the lifespan of an aluminium structure, and to simplify matters, experts consider its longevity as permanent. Comfort: An aluminium hull has excellent thermal and acoustic insulation and is reassuringly solid. It does not creak when sailing and does not emit odours. Environment: Unlike composite, aluminium is fully recyclable at the end of its life. Moreover, it generates little secondary pollution thanks to the low maintenance it requires. Safety: Safety at sea is paramount. Aluminium does not burn in air and does not ignite combustion. Customized Fittings: Aluminium allows for more customization possibilities. Thus, it is possible to adapt each boat to the specific needs of the owners. Modifying the deck plan, the layout or the superstructure is entirely possible. Resale Value: Aluminium vessels are extremely durable and retain their resale value, due to the fact that the structure does not wear out or deteriorate over time.
