Outside style and performanceFrom the very first glance, the Sun Odyssey 349 captivates with her unadulterated lines. The hull has a hard chine that runs from well before the mid-ships all the way aft adding stability underway. She has a reverse deck sheer adding to the sleek look but importantly increasing interior volume.This model sports the winged shoal draft keel drawing 4ft 10in. This design maintains sailing performance without sacrificing access to the shallower anchorages. The twin rudders give fabulous tracking and ‘feedback’, making her a real joy to helm.The twin wheel configuration and no backstay give a clear walkthrough to the companionway through the vast cockpit.
