The Astrea 42 owners version fitted all our criteria for living onboard as a small family in a compact yet spacious design. Sowilo comes set up with all the amenities to live off-grid in style and comfort, including full solar power set up, large generator 11kva perfect for charging batteries on cloudy rainy days and to run aircons when needed; plenty fridge/freezer space for easy provisioning to spend extended time in remote and quiet anchorages; 2x water makers for glorious long showers, Starlink for online schooling and staying connected, ample space and headroom in saloon and cockpit for comfortable relaxed living and entertaining. The additional forward seating area is perfect to catch the cooling breeze while sipping sundowners. And the top-deck sun-loungers are great for relaxing and sunbathing in ones own space. The swim platform (dinghy lift) is a convenient feature for easy access between boat and water while on anchor, perfect for diving, snorkelling and other water sports. It also makes loading goods in and off the dingy a breeze. Sowilo is very easy to sail single handed if needed or great fun for two, with all lines leading to the spacious helm which comfortably accommodates 2-3 people under sail. Sowilo comes fully set up with an easily accessed tool and spares cupboard containing everything needed for all running repairs and maintenance. The galley has plenty of storage space and comes fully set-up with all cooking ware. Sowilo is perfectly set-up for coastal cruising or long-term blue water cruising. We are the third owners from new, never been chartered. We cruised the Caribbean chain for 2 seasons.
