2020 Azimut Magellano 53

The Azimut Magellano 53, like the second generation of the entire Magellano range, has been designed with the feedback of customers who have been operating these yachts since their launch. In particular, some interior layouts have been changed and, in general, more useful space has been created.In addition, many potential clients favoured an additional captain's cabin on a 17 metre yacht, which was also considered in Magellano 53. The cockpit is now larger, with a bar and a large sofa with table. The swim platform, whose mechanism can lift a tender weighing up to 400 kg, has also been enlarged.Like the other models in the range, the Magellano 53 has a specific «hybrid» hull shape designed by British naval architect Bill Dixon, thanks to which Magellano yachts sail well in both displacement and hydroplaning modes. The superstructure boasts circular glazing, so that the helm of Magellano 53 will have an excellent view and guests will be able to enjoy the sea views to the maximum.The flybridge is not very large, but in addition to the second control station, there is a cozy sofa corner with a table. There are also very large sofa areas on the bow deck and in the cockpit.The master suite is equipped in the middle of the hull and has a bathroom and large portholes with an opening part. The VIP cabin occupies the forward section of the living deck and is slightly smaller than the owner's suite.Magellano 53 is positioned as a long range yacht, but her autonomy is naturally inversely proportional to her speed - for example, her range will be 500 miles at 10 knots or only 370 at 20 knots.
