Description
Mairmade represents a beautifully maintained example of the Hanse 575 flagship cruising yacht. This 3-cabin Owners Version has never been chartered and has been privately cruised in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, including ARC Atlantic crossings in 2016 and 2022.Powered by a Volvo Penta D3-150 diesel with approximately 1800 hours, direct drive to a 4-blade Flexofold propeller, she delivers efficient cruising at approximately 7.5 knots at 2,200 RPM and a maximum speed near 9 knots. Twin helms provide confident control, while electric in-mast furling, electric headsail furler, and cockpit-led running rigging to electric winches allow for easy short-handed sailing.Below deck, the interior is exceptionally spacious and bright, highlighted by remarkable 6’8” headroom throughout, creating an open and airy feel rarely found even in yachts of this size. Her custom stainless steel solar arch supports approximately 1.4kW of solar, feeding a 48V 200Ah LiFePO4 battery bank managed through a Victron 5kW Multiplus-II system. This architecture supports appliances, air conditioning, watermaker operation, and onboard comfort with minimal generator use.The hydraulic dinghy garage doubles as a swim platform and houses a Carib Marine SR320BL with 20hp Suzuki outboard. Additional davits allow flexible storage options for offshore passages or daily use.Mairmade is fully equipped for extended cruising and presented in Bristol condition. She is actively cruising and ready to hand over immediately.Mairmade represents a beautifully maintained example of the Hanse 575 flagship cruising yacht. The dealer then retained her for personal use, completing a westbound Atlantic crossing with the ARC in November/December 2016 followed by Caribbean cruising in early 2017. She was shipped back to Europe by cargo vessel in Summer 2017, listed for sale in Fall 2017, and purchased by her current owners in Slovenia in May 2018, at which time she was renamed “Mairmade.” From 2018 through 2022, she was privately operated throughout the Eastern Mediterranean — including Greece, Turkey, Croatia, and Montenegro — wintering in Corfu. In November/December 2022, she completed another westbound Atlantic crossing with the ARC and has since been privately cruised through the Windward and Leeward Islands, with off-season storage at Spice Island Marine in Grenada since 2023.Fully equipped for effortless single or double-handed sailing, she offers exceptional comfort and practicality both underway and at anchor. Her high freeboard keeps the decks notably dry, even in sporty conditions. Designed to excel in warm climates, she features a large cockpit with ample shade and the ability to operate heavy appliances — including air conditioning — directly from battery power, supported by a generator with auto-start that quickly replenishes the 48V lithium bank when required. Generous solar capacity allows for continuous operation whether sailing or at anchor, with the generator primarily supplementing air conditioning, hot water, and watermaker use. Her teak decks remain in excellent condition, having required only a single light sanding over ten years, and are ready for the next decade. A single-blade rudder provides excellent low-speed maneuverability, while the deep keel delivers strong upwind performance and protects the rudder around docks, as it sits shallower than the keel. She also offers the best of both worlds with a secure dinghy garage for clean storage and davits on the stern arch for added convenience.DisclaimerThe company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel. A buyer should instruct his agents, or his surveyors, to investigate such details as the buyer desires validated.
