Description

Miss Summer – Fully Modernized, Extensively Refit, and Showing Like a Much Newer YachtAlthough Miss Summer is a 2014 model, nothing about this yacht reflects her age. In recent years she has benefited from an exceptional level of refit, renewal, and system upgrades that place her firmly in line with — and in many cases ahead of — much newer boats. Her most recent survey passed with no recommendations, further underscoring her condition and level of care. At anchor, she delivers silent nights on lithium power and can comfortably run one to two air-conditioning units overnight without the need for the generator — a rare and highly desirable capability that eliminates noise, fuel burn, and guest disturbance. This level of energy independence is typically found only on much newer, higher-priced yachts. From her 1200Ah lithium house bank, Mastervolt inverter/charger suite, 600W of solar, and Micro-Air EasyStarts delivering true off-grid capability, to her 2022 standing rigging, SD60 saildrives, and refreshed upholstery and canvas, all of the major, high-cost ownership items have already been addressed. The result is a yacht that feels contemporary, quiet, and highly self-sufficient — equally comfortable at anchor or underway. Combined with a Cummins Onan 13.5kW generator, high-output watermaker, and substantial refrigeration capacity, she is exceptionally well equipped for extended cruising or luxury crewed operations.Buyers would be hard-pressed to find a practical reason not to compare her directly with much newer models at significantly higher price points.Review the full specifications and upgrade list to truly appreciate the level of investment and capability on offer.Additional InformationAccommodation• Accommodation – Sleeps 10–12• (4) Double guest cabins, each with private ensuite upgraded to make her more efficient and modern. We have basically been everywhere on this boat over the years, and she has proven to be a truly great boat – very safe, well maintained and professionally upgraded.Significant investment has been made in the electrical side. We decided to convert her to lithium power. What a game changer! This upgrade also led to new/upgraded installation of wires, new and more powerful charger and charger/inverter from Mastervolt. The final touch to the upgrade was made in 2026 with new alternators, that have external regulators with lithium charging profile. We also installed soft starts for the A/C units, to run them smoothly off the battery bank.We have redesigned and upgraded the galley with electrical steam/sous vide/convection oven, combining gas and induction top. New fridges/freezers, that can operate as fried/fridge, freezer/freezer or fridge/freezer, with automatic defrost. We upgraded to SD60 sail drives and new propellers a few years back, due to one slipping gearbox. So we decided to change both sail drives to new. At the same time, we installed new engine mounts. The rig was starting to show signs of aging, so we replaced the standing rigging. And this has been the theme during our ownership – Always trying to be on top of things rather than letting things break.Over the years we have upgraded the interior and the fabric on board, to make her look modern and pretty. The sofa was remade with Sunberella interior fabric, new Sunbrella cushion covers throughout the exterior. All beds have memory foam toppers and are very comfortable. New curtains/blackout were purchased from the original manufacturer and color changed to gray instead of the original beige. Installed LED lights in the steps. New, black, trampolines. We recently changed all the black water hoses and replaced the old valves with TruDesign valves. All bathrooms have new faucets and soft close toilet seats. New chrome push locks though out the boat. All chrome on this boat is shining.Miss Summer has, during our ownership, always been operated by us, who are commercial licensed captains, and she has been professionally and regularly maintained.During our ownership she has not suffered any damage. The boat has been inspected in water every year, and out of water every third year. During the last insurance survey in May 2025, the report came back blank. During the last safety inspection in December 2025 and February 2026, no deficiencies were found. Before our ownership she suffered some damage in a hurricane, about 9 years ago. When we bought her, she had been standing on the hard for almost two years. She had a brand-new boom and main sail installed, new A/C units on starboard side. She also came with a brand-new cross beam as a spare. Nothing was wrong with the one installed, but when we later noticed some delamination damage, that we had professionally repaired by the West End Boat Yard, we also asked them to install the new cross beam and donated the old one. At the same time the bulkhead was reinforced, certified by Lagoon. Bulkheads were in good shape and not broken.Tenders: Dinghy Info: AB 12ft Inflatable  Dinghy: AB Inflatables 12VSOutboard motor:  Yamaha 15HPDinghy OB Serial : 15FHM 684K S 1158215xDisclaimerThe company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel.
