2011 Malo 37

The Malo 37 combines spacious family accommodation with impressive performance, outstanding seakeeping and offshore comfort and features the trademark deep aft cockpit for ultimate family safety. Vega is in the same ownership from new and has been much loved and very well maintained. From delivery until 2015 she was based in Lymington, Dartmouth and then Bristol for local cruising and preparation for a round the world trip. After a very successful circumnavigation she returned to Bristol in the summer of 2023 and has since enjoyed local cruising once again. She retains her full blue water inventory and is therefore ready to go long distance sailing again but equally very well equipped for coastal cruising. Highlights include generator, water maker, Hydrovane steering, wind, towed and solar charging. With some sadness, the owners are moving on from this type of sailing and want to hand her over in the best possible condition to her next custodian. Vega is therefore fresh from a mini refit in the shed, she benefits from new boot top gel coat, full machine polish, fully re-built rudder, many through hulls replaced, new cutlass bearing and perhaps most importantly a thorough inspection including mast removal and re-fitting.
