Description
The J/97 was first launched in 2009 and offers the best accommodation in a 30 foot J with standing headroom, private owners’ cabin and private heads aft. A genuine dual role boat with a fantastic record under IRC coupled with super easy handling for the short-handed sailor. A true performance sailing yacht the J/97 will keep you on your toes! 'Jes' is a 2011 example and has had only three very careful owners. She comes to the market with a host of One Sails and North Sails from 2017 as well as an almost new 2024 Ullman A2 2022. The chartplotter with AIS was upgraded in 2025, the fridge compressor replaced in 2024 and the head and cooker replaced in 2022, no expense has been spared on keeping 'Jes' well maintained. The current owner has also pro-actively undertaken a new Saildrive and service as well as new anti-foul in spring 2026 so this boat is ready to sail this season without the need for further maintenance.
