Description

Stock #484612This Sea Ray has recently been added to market (Apr 4th). Submit your offer today!Excellent 240 SunDeck! Loaded and ready to hit the water! The 2008 240 Sundeck is all about wide-open space and social flow, built like a floating backyard rather than a tucked-away cabin cruiser. Its defining feature is the oversized bow lounge, which stretches forward with symmetrical wraparound seating, integrated speakers, grab rails, and even a bow ladder for beach-style boarding. A deep-V hull with around a 21-degree deadrise gives it a surprisingly smooth, confident ride for a boat this open, letting it handle chop better than most deck boats while still delivering that laid-back, sun-soaked experience. In the cockpit, the layout feels engineered for entertaining. There's abundant seating for up to a dozen people, with a mix of lounge areas, twin helm seats, and a wet bar tucked behind the captain's chair, turning the middle of the boat into a natural gathering zone. The walkthrough windshield and full-beam design make movement effortless from bow to stern, while features like a large extended swim platform and stern ladder transform the back end into a launch pad for swimming, tubing, or just dangling your feet in the water. Instead of a cabin, this boat cleverly uses its space for practical comforts. You still get a private enclosed head compartment with a portable toilet, freshwater sink, and storage, which is a big upgrade for day boating. Add in generous storage compartments throughout, onboard water systems, and strong engine power, and you've got a boat that balances performance with usability. It's less about overnighting and more about maximizing the day - sun, speed, and a whole crew onboard without anyone feeling cramped. While we will always attempt to provide you with a TRUE representation of every vessel we market, during any purchase from Pop you will be encouraged to schedule an inspection from an independent, accredited surveyor and every purchase WILL ALWAYS BE subject to your satisfaction with the results from your independent survey and your own personal trial run.We have several more Regal, Bayliner, Chaparral, and Rinker vessels for sale. If you're in the Washington, Baltimore, Arlington, or Alexandria areas, please contact us to let us know what you're looking for and we'll get back with you today about any other bowrider options we have locally that may meet your needs. You have questions? Owner's Comment
A 2008 Sea Ray 240 Sundeck with only 148 hours is like finding a pickup truck that's barely left the driveway - exceptionally low use for its age. For context, many similar boats from that year show 300 or 400 hours and are still considered "low-hour". So at 148 hours, you're looking at a vessel that's been lightly used, averaging under 10 hours per season. The fact that it was shrink wrapped and winterized every year is a huge green flag. That kind of care acts like putting the boat in a time capsule each offseason -- protecting upholstery from UV damage, preventing moisture intrusion, and keeping the engine and plumbing systems from freeze damage. Boats that are stored covered or under protection tend to retain a cleaner gelcoat, glossier finishes, and better-preserved interiors compared to those left exposed. It also suggests a conscientious owner who followed routine maintenance rather than letting things slide.
