Description

Marketing Description We are delighted to present "Outnumbered" to the market, this Hanse 370 was ordered by her owners at the 2007 Southampton Boat Show and was delivered to them in Spring 2008. She is the standard 2 cabin layout and was copper coated before launching. It is believed that she was the last 370 built with a lead keel. Being a 2-cabin version she features a large walk in locker on the starboard side accessible from the cabin or the cockpit. The galley area is also extended with addtional cupboards and worksurfaces compared to the 3-cabin model. She has been used in UK and English Channel waters and has full title documentation including the original VAT invoice.Berth at Weymouth Marina is available for the new owner to continue.Available for viewings now, please call 01305 818541

This is still in existence, however the SIMNET is now mainly true NMEA 2000 equipment (the only difference being SIMNET uses proprietary connectors, but the NMEA 2000 protocol. Wherever possible everything is networked e.g. the Navtex display replicates the Simrad/B&G instruments. There are multiple spares for all networks on board which can be made available subject to separate negotiation.

Accommodation Forward CabinLarge double berthDouble UK 240v socket under the port wardrobe and twin USB socket on the port side between the wardrobe and bunkRoller blinds to all windows for blackoutCoat pegs on the wallThe wardrobes are of a good size with plenty of hanging and shelf
space.Fresh water tank is in a locker below the bunk.Access panel in the floor for the tri-data (depth, speed temp) sensorSaloonWell kept throughout with original wood and soft furnishings. Many of the filament lights have been replaced with LED bulbs and some of the light switches, which are prone to corrosion in the salty air have been replaced. Windows have been resealed during the life of the yacht – the latest resealing was in spring 2025.The chart table top lifts up for storage on a gas stay. There is a red/white light LED lamp over the chart tableBatteries under aft chart table seatUnder the chart table are the primary switches for the main circuits, incoming circuit breakers and calorifier electricity on switch. Also there is a rotary 240v rated switch for selecting the power input – mains or inverter. This is designed so that when the inverter is in use the calorifier is not powered up otherwise it will trip the inverted due to the power required.Above the chart table is a 12v Samsung TV and a TP-Link router which can take a SIM card to provide MiFi functionality. Both are hardwired back into the cupboard on the left that contains the 12v distribution panel.Multiple lockers under the setteeGalleySome of the cupboards have LED lights in them which come on when opened. Many of the cupboards have been adapted with mahogany rails to stop plates, tins etc coming loose when sailing.Above the oven in the glass-fronted cabinet is a microwave – mains only. The flexible gas hose to the cooker was replaced in 2025.One of the galley draws holds 3 tubes of curtain runners for the curtain rails hidden behind the upper wood moulding. These have never been used. The sink drain (stopcock and through hull) was replaced during the 2025 lift with TruDesign fittings. Unlike a common problem with sink drainage on the Hanse 370 it now drains fairly quickly.Electric kettleGas kettleElectric toasterDouble sinkTop and front-loading fridge with ice box. Fridge has VSR to protect 12v circuitThe polycarbonate glasses will be included in the sale, but the cutlery, crockery, pots & pans and kitchen utensils will not. Aft CabinLarge double berth Under bunk is the calorifier and 2 further lockersPlenty of hanging space and shelves in the wardrobe2 additional coat hooks for wet weather gearAft LockerUnder the floor is the diesel tank and fuel filter.Fire extinguisher in locker just inside door.Lights automatically come on when the locker is entered from the cabin. No lights when entered from the cockpit to preserve night vision.Inside the locker on the inboard side are storage boxes for food/drink etc. These are secured so they do not move at sea. Also on this side is a space to store the inflatable (not included in the sale – for separate negotiation)At the rear of the locker is the long mains shore power lead and spare oils for the engine and saildrive.HeadsThe toilet has been refurbished with a Jabsco “twist and lock”
pump which avoids any back syphoning.Under the sink are the seacocks. The toilet outlet through hull was replaced during the 2025 lift, again with TruDesign. Also under the sink is the salt water deck washdown pump. This draws water from the inlet through hull and has a fitting for connecting the hose to it on the deck above the heads. The shower door has a retaining catch on it as, from the factory, it used to swing around when sailing.Under the seat in the shower are the fresh water and shower waste pumps. Both have fine filters on their inlets.CockpitThere is a single wheel in the cockpit. This large and allows for a comfortable seating position on the coaming when sailing. Immediately to the stern of the wheel is a floor locker containing the Jeffa DD1 Autopilot drive.Below the stern seats are lockers for Campingaz 907 cylindersLarge port cockpit lockerAbeam the wheel on both sides are manual winchesEither side of the companionway are 2 further winches and the cleats for the running rigging. The starboard winch is electric and mainly used for the main halyard but all lines can be run to it. There is a 12v socket beside the electric winch linked to the winch circuit.Additional cleats are on the deck for running rigging – especially if a non self-tacking jib or a cruising chute is utilised. The safety rails have gates to both sides allowing easy dockside access.Additional tie down points have been installed on the coach roof to allow paddleboard, kayak etc to be secured without affecting sail control lines.A whisker pole is secured on the coach roof for the headsail when running downwindThe masthead has a combined windex and aerial along with a B&G anemometer. The original was replaced in 2014.All running lights are LED and are fully functional.
Construction Antifoul was originally epoxy Coppercoat. This eventually gave up after 17 years although it was still effective it was wearing thin. When lifted in 2025 the hull was sanded down and 2 coats of Hempel underwater primer applied followed by 2 coats of Hempel Cruising antifoul. The antifoul was lifted slightly higher than the Coppercoat as a beard line constantly formed above the original antifoul. The saildrive was stripped back and 4 coats of Hempel epoxy
primer (designed for saildrives) applied before multiple coats of hard
antifoul. The gelcoat colour is “Trabbi Blue”. This is a beautiful colour when freshly polished by oxidises rapidly to a dull sheen. To that end the gel coat is not often cut back and polished to avoid excessive loss of gelcoat. The teak inlays to the cockpit and seating is original and in
reasonable condition for its age.Lead fin keel
