Boat OverviewThis 2008 Replica Dutch Barge was launched in 2009 and built by Pickwell & Arnold. The boat is powered by a Perkins M92B diesel engine with 86 horsepower and shaft drive. It has had only two owners since its inception and features a spacious interior with a highly adaptable layout. The vessel includes a large wheelhouse, which was rebuilt by Blackwater Marine in 2016. The wheelhouse has a single door for day-to-day use that can be opened to double width for bringing large furniture into the boat. This 57 ft replica Dutch barge also offers a coal-burning stove with direct access to a 2 t coal bunker located forward of the vessel, as well as a wet heating system. The toilet features a half bath located aft of the vessel with the master cabin midships. The vessel has just been blacked and is currently out of the water at Ipswich Beacon Marina.
