2008 Beneteau Antares Series 9 with single 260 hp Volvo Penta D4-260TA EVC diesel engine and full cruising specification including bow thruster, electric anchor windlass, shore power with battery charger, rope cutter, trim tabs, Furuno MFD (radar / chartplotter / depthsounder), autopilot, DSC VHF radio, cockpit camper cover and 6 man liferaft. An extremely well presented example of these very popular family motor cruisers, which has been maintained by its current owner to an extremely high standard with great attention being paid to detail. Shortly after purchasing the boat, he spent a considerable sum in 2020 with the local Volvo Penta dealer on a major engine / gearbox service, which included new skin fittings / ball valves, stern gland and cutlass bearing, in addition to having both the heat exchanger and charge air cooler stripped down and serviced. The boat has since been professionally serviced on a regular basis until the owner took over in 2023. Hull recently stripped back and primmed with Gelshield before being coated with Coppercoat antifouling.
