Description

Launched in 2007, Nautor Swan 75-004 SIMPLE HARMONY II is a stunning example of this performance-oriented, flush deck sailing yacht designed by German Frers. She is a lightly used and professionally maintained yacht with only two owners from new. She was sold by Berthon in 2020 to the current owner, and has been lightly used in the Mediterranean since, sailing in the summer and stowed ashore in the winter. SIMPLE HARMONY II was designed to cruise and has never been raced. Below, she offers four comfortable double guest cabins, plus one double crew cabin forward. She has a standard keel and draft, a new 11mm teak deck in 2023, a recent North Sails inventory, an Offshore carbon spar and boom, and many recent works and updates. I bought SIMPLE HARMONY II in 2020. She is my third Swan – I have owned a 44, a 68, and now a 75. As great as all the Swan boats have been for me, this 75 has been a sailing experience well beyond the others. We have sailed the yacht extensively in the eastern Mediterranean, visiting Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Sicily, Malta, Sardinia, and Corsica. SIMPLE HARMONY II sails exceptionally well, with strong upwind and downwind performance. Like other Swans, she is very sturdy and stable in strong winds and heavy seas. She features a classic Swan design, and we regularly receive compliments on the boat’s beauty. Moreover, the layout is perfect for hosting guests and cruising. She can be competently sailed by two crew members. Finally, the 2.9-meter keel has been extremely helpful in Mediterranean harbours, where depth can be an issue for boats with deeper keels. During my ownership, the boat has been professionally maintained and serviced to the highest standards. We replaced the teak deck in 2023 and added a furling gennaker in 2024, which has really enhanced the ease and capabilities for downwind sailing. As someone said when I told them I was going to sell, selling your yacht is like selling a piece of your heart. That is indeed the case here. I had not planned to sell, but family medical issues make it impossible for me to use her to her full potential.
