Description
A BESPOKE DOWNEAST MASTERPIECEINGRID is a truly exceptional custom Downeast yacht, crafted to the highest standards by Gorbon Yachts of Turkey. From her stunning lines to her impeccable fit and finish, INGRID is a head-turner in every harbor. Designed as both a luxurious dayboat and a capable cruiser, her layout features a seamless single-level flow between the cockpit and pilothouse, ideal for entertaining or extended cruising. Old world joinery and Herrshoff finishes make for a welcoming and bright interior. She comfortably accommodates six overnight guests, offering the versatility to match her good looks with real world comfort. Meticulously maintained and continuously upgraded with no expense spared, INGRID shows like new. Her performance, aesthetics, and quality construction place her in a class of her own – a rare opportunity for the discerning yachtsman, looking for that Unicorn of luxury, performance and value. A true find available now for viewings by appointment. She is stored indoors and easily viewable. Vessel BackgroundINGRID was thoughtfully designed with one of the most versatile layouts imaginable considering its heritage and size. Unlike the Downeast boats of her size, with a traditional pilothouse and separate cockpit, her pilothouse can be enclosed for protection from the elements in bad weather, whether by closing it up via a hinged aft bulkhead which turns the area from the transom all the way to the helm and below, into one single open space. The available central air conditioning or heating can be utilized for further comfort. Outfitted with the latest state-of-the-art technology and amenities, her elegant looks, sleek lines, and finishes are traditionally Downeast, with flawless teak decking throughout. Her pilothouse and topside awlgrip finishes are impeccable, and her brightwork gleams with perfection. Built in 2007, it is better-than-new today. Its owner has spent his time lovingly improving it over the years. Her topsides were awlgripped in 2018, her deck in 2020. New Volvo IPS engines and drives were installed in 2019, and a Seakeeper installed in 2022. Easily handled with twin Volvo IPS Pods, simply controlled with a Joystick, the owner or any other captain can sail it solo without the need of a mate. It has a full galley with an electric cooktop, wet bar, separate ice maker, outdoor BBQ, entertainment system that can be controlled for the different areas, a TV which disappears into a cabinet while not using it, central vacuum, a Seakeeper.
