We really rate these wonderful Back Cove 29s! Built up in Maine to a very high standard, they are well-suited to UK weather, with a capable hull, excellent protection from the wheelhouse, a cosy cabin with a traditional feel, and superb decks. Paired with a rorty Yanmar six-cylinder diesel, she cruises in the low twenties and has plenty of poke when needed. Creature comforts such as heating, modern electronics (including radar), a useful bow thruster, and a holding tank make her a highly compelling choice.ConstructionRCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised C – “Coastal ” for 9 persons on board.
