The efficient and simple deck layout allows a short-handed crew to handle the full potential of the boat effortlessly. Fast and elegant, the Cigale 16 is built 100% in aluminium to ensure safety, the cockpit has been designed for easy manoeuvring, especially with an electric winch for the mainsail halyard, and special attention is paid to the protection of the crew. The quality of her interior fittings ensures total harmony with her pure lines. Its central saloon, very bright thanks to its hatches and hatches, combined with a balanced distribution of cabins and toilets, make it a very pleasant yacht to live on. The Cigale 16 'Sargantal Zulu' from the Alubat shipyard is a boat built in aluminium with special reinforcements in her hull, as well as a high resistance rigging with oversized dimensions. It is designed for ocean or offshore crossings with guaranteed navigation in the most adverse conditions. Without being a boat conceived for regattas, it can sail happily as a good competition prototype and surf in appropriate conditions. The aluminium construction allows for emergency repairs to the hull with a high chance of making it to port for repairs. The 2.40 draught and a foresail allow us to go upwind in winds of more than 30 knots. The beam and the wide stern facilitate and accelerate the navigation in strong winds.
