Der Motor wurde jährlich gewartet. 2021 wurde der Z-Antrieb ausgebaut und einer Generalüberholung unterzogen, inklusive Austausch der Faltenbälge. Das Boot ist mit dem beliebten Mercruiser 350 Mag MPI-Motor und einem Bravo III Duoprop ausgestattet. Die Maxum 2400 ist bekannt für ihr großzügiges Platzangebot und ihre vielfältigen Staumöglichkeiten und wurde in zahlreichen Bootstests für ihr exzellentes Fahrverhalten gelobt.
