Description

Upon stepping aboard DRAAGEN, a Grand Banks 47 Europa, you are immediately greeted by the classical look and meticulous craftsmanship, but also by the feel that this vessel is designed for serious long-distance cruising or weekend getaways. Her Caterpillar C-9 diesels, which just completed the 1000 hour maintenance provide economical power to make those trips. The most recent, being to New England and back. She is a very well maintained and equipped vessel that features two staterooms, two heads, upper and lower helm stations, 12’ dinghy, many other amenities and a long list of additional equipment. Entering the salon, you immediately experience the openness with large windows. The well-equipped helm station is forward, with a U-shaped galley area aft to port and L-shaped seating aft to port with two comfortable arm chairs opposite to starboard. A TV is hidden to starboard within an electric lift and a teak hi-lo table to port. Descending to the port of the helm is the bow owner stateroom with queen size berth, ensuite head with spacious shower. Aft to starboard is the second cabin with twin athwartship berths. Opposite to port is a second head with shower and combo washer dryer accessed behind cabinet doors. From the aft deck you can either raise the stairs to access the engine room or access the spacious flybridge which includes a wet bar, comfortable seating, a teak table and two Stidd helm chairs forward. The entire bridge is enclosed with a three-quarter enclosure with seven U-zips.  With her bow and stern thrusters DRAAGEN can maneuver into any tight spot. Walking forward to the bow is very adequate ground tackle to anchor in any hidden harbor with spare anchors available.Economical speed: 8 knots @ 4 gph.A ten-year maintenance log, inventory and exclusion list are available aboard DRAAGEN.WalkthroughGalleyPrincess Euro Kerra 3-burner cooktopSub-Zero under-counter refrigeratorIsotherm refrigerator/freezer in salonSharp Carousel convection microwaveDometic CFX refrigerator/freezer in lazarette (2021)Stainless steel sink with pressure hot/cold waterWatts 3-filter reverse osmosis systemSplendide 2100 combo washer/dryerMagma infrared propane grill mounted on aft railElectronics & Navigation Aids5" Richie compass, flybridge and lower helmIcom M506 VHF, flybridgeIcom M604 VHF, lower helmIcom hailer, lower helmGarmin M616 digital multifunction display (2 – flybridge)Garmin M616 digital multifunction display, lower helmTwo Garmin 7616 multifunction displays, flybridgeTwo Garmin 7612 multifunction displays, lower helmGarmin navigation networkGarmin autopilot integrated to chartplotter, flybridge and lower helmGarmin WiFiGarmin radarGarmin AISEntertainmentBose stereo receiver in salon with Bose speakersSony 32" TV in salonSceptre 19" TV in bow stateroomKVH TV system (receiver removed previously)Fusion AM/FM stereoElectric110/220V AC system; 12/24V DC system with shore power connections fore and aftGlendinning Cablemaster at transom, 50'11.5 kW Onan genset in sound shield with 2300 hoursTwo 25' shore power cordsDouble Hubble YK230, 30 amp, 250 amp / 250 VACPort C-9 Engine: (2) 4D AGM batteries (2021), (1) 8D AGM battery (2021)Starboard C-9 Engine: (2) 8D AGM batteries (2021)House: (2) 6-volt AGM DC400-6 batteriesStern thruster: (2) 12-volt AGM batteries (2021)Genset: (1) 12-volt AGM battery (2025)Two Pro-Nautic 1250 12-volt battery chargers (2021)Magnum Energy 2800-watt 12-volt inverter/charger (2017)12-volt battery chargerDeck & MechanicalHighfield 12' side-console aluminum tender (2022) with 30 hp Tohatsu outboard (2022)Marquipt 800 12-volt davitBow pulpit with twin SS anchor rollers, Suncore 45 lb SS anchor w/220' chainLofrans Tigress electric windlass with chain gypsy, rope drum, and foredeck controlsFortress fold-up anchor with chain and line rodeChain locker divided and drainedSpare 10 lb Danforth anchor with chain rode (bow locker)100' dinghy floating tow lineFreshwater bibb in bow lockerTeak toe rails with coversTeak transom with full coverTextilene covers for all windows and 80% aft-deck enclosureVarnished teak grates in engine roomSleipner Side-Power bow and stern electric thrusters, controls at both helms12-volt dinghy davitBimini top with ¾ enclosure and 7 U-zipsWindshield wipers and washersStainless steel bow, side, and stern safety railsThree bilge pumpsZF Mathers engine controls, both stations (2017)Caterpillar multifunction displays, both stationsFreshwater bibb in engine roomMain engine AirsepsRacor filters on main engines and gensetDripless shaft logs and cutlass bearings (2024)Kahlenberg air hornHolding tank with Y-valveNavigation lightsRudder angle indicator, both helmsComputank display for fuel and waterHinged mast with spreader lightsACR spotlightBennet trim tabsThree Stidd helm chairsCO monitors in sleeping areas and salon17-gallon Torrid water heaterFour cameras (two in engine room, one port stern, one on mast)Aft deck water hookupAft deck hot/cold shower¾ flybridge enclosure with 7 U-zipsFlybridge covers for helm, wheel, teak table, helm chairs, setee and wet barTeak and stainless-steel wheel at flybridge helm“Ditch Bag” on flybridgeTwo EPIRBs (one for boat, one for dinghy)Three Dometic A/C unitsLED lights in engine roomSeaBlaze underwater lights (2024)Sealand VacuFlush heads with easy-close seats (2025)Fireboy emergency fire-suppression systemHatches with Oceanaire retractable sunshades and screensPhantom screen doors at lower helm and salon
