Description

This elegant and fast sloop, designed by Philippe Briand and Franck Darnet for world cruising has been built to ABS standards by the Vaudrey Miller shipyard in New Zealand. Her composite, GRP E-glass/Kevlar/Carbon fiber construction make her a lightweight and robust yacht. The result is a remarkable, high-performance and pleasant-to-sail Sailing Yacht, ideal for offshore cruising. Her relatively light weight (40 tons) and large sails area (over 300 m² upwind and 520 m² downwind) make her easy to reach speeds of 10 knots with a small crew. The deck is streamlined with flush-deck hatches. Behind the roof, the area is divided into three zones:- A spacious and welcoming amidships relaxation cockpit for six to eight people with a U-shaped bench seat around a folding composite table. It is protected by a retractable bimini.- A maneuvering cockpit with two helm stations offering excellent visibility. All winches and sheets are located behind these wheels.- Two sunbathing occupies the entire aft deck, with easy access to the swimming platform, activated by the swinging door of the aft garage. It can be used to stow the 3.00 m tender, which is launched using the boom. The timeless, understated, and warm interior features noble materials such as angrewood, rosewood, and brushed steel. The contrast between the white ceilings and the gray fabrics and carpets is very elegant. Amidships, the daytime living area includes the saloon/dining room to port with an L-shaped sofa and three ottomans surrounding a table convertible into coffee table. To starboard, the chart table is at the bottom of the companionway and is extended by a small L-shaped lounge with a coffee table. The two double guest cabins are forward. The owner's cabin occupies the full-beam aft. The passageway located to port of the cockpit houses the crew cabin, while the galley is in the opposite section to starboard. Each of the four cabins has its own en-suite bathroom.Boat equipped with high-tech features, including: Matrix carbon fiber mast and boom, Navtec Rod rigging, 2 Reckmann hydraulic furlers, 300 m² of sails area upwind and 520 m² downwind, Harken hydraulic winches, 2 steering wheels, 30 hp Lewmar bow thruster, 20 kW Northern Lights generator, 2 x 24,000 BTU Cruiser reverse cycle air conditioning systems, 240 l/h Sea Recovery watermaker, complete electronics and KVH Satcom satellite communications, garage under the cockpit for the 3.00 m tender with 25 hp, etc…This yacht had the same owner since new. He used her exclusively for private use. Refitted in 2016 & 2023 and meticulously maintained, this boat is in perfect condition.
