Description

The Hanse 461 is a performance cruiser designed by Judel Vrolijk and built by Hanse Yachts. She combines modern epoxy sandwich construction with an internal steel grid, resulting in a light, stiff and durable hull with strong resistance to osmosis. She delivers efficient and responsive sailing across a wide range of conditions. The model was nominated for Cruising World Boat of the Year in 2006 in the performance cruiser category above 45 feet. A yacht that works equally well for fast coastal cruising and longer offshore passages. On the water she is easy to handle and rewarding to sail, with a fractional rig and self-tacking jib making her well suited for short-handed cruising. Twin wheel steering and a spade rudder give a direct and balanced feel, while the overall sailing experience is stable, predictable and fast when needed. Below deck she offers a three-cabin layout with a forward owner cabin and two aft cabins. One of her standout qualities is the unusually generous amount of storage throughout the yacht. Lockers and compartments are thoughtfully distributed, making it easy to store personal gear, spares and equipment for a full crew without clutter. This allows the interior to remain clean, open and organised even on longer passages. The saloon feels bright and spacious with large hull windows and good ventilation. The galley is practical and well laid out, and the navigation station is more versatile than on many yachts, where it is often purely a dedicated sea passage workstation. Here it also works as a natural additional space in daily life onboard. The owner’s cabin forward also includes a dedicated desk and work area, adding a practical space for remote work when needed. On deck the cockpit is spacious with twin wheels and comfortable seating. All sail controls are led aft to the companionway, keeping sail handling simple from the cockpit. A fold out swim platform adds useful extra space at anchor or in harbour, while the foredeck is kept clean and functional with a concealed anchor arrangement. Take Five is a very complete and well-equipped yacht, offering everything needed for comfortable cruising and easy handling. She has been continuously improved and carefully maintained over time, with thoughtful upgrades that enhance both comfort and functionality, focusing on systems, structure and day to day usability. Overall, Take Five offers a strong balance of performance, comfort and offshore capability, ready for her next owner. After a recent professional delivery to Sweden she is now ashore at Moranviken, Stockholm, where she can be easily inspected. VAT has been paid in the Netherlands. Key Facts: * Epoxy hull (461e specification)  * Top sides re-painted. * Bow thruster  * Electric winch  * New plotter and B&G electronics * New VHF * Radar, Autopilot,  * Air condition, two separate systems. * Diesel heater  * New batteries * New glass on skylights and rubber seals changed.  * New sprayhood and lazybag and wheelcover. * New 60m anchor chain. * Life raft recently serviced. * Dinghy with outboard engine. * Leather upholstery from Poltrona Frau. * Self-tacking jib system. * Full North Sails inventory including gennaker  * Sail drive seal recently changed. * EU-VAT paid.
