Description

The Bowman Starlight 46, built in 2003 and designed by Stephen Jones, was conceived as a fast and capable performance cruiser. She combines rewarding sailing performance with the exceptional build quality from Bowman Yachts. As a result, she remains a highly regarded choice for serious fast cruising. This yacht has been professionally remodelled, with the forward cabin converted into a large owner’s en-suite cabin. Below deck, the layout is well suited to extended offshore cruising, with excellent storage throughout and a warm interior finished in cherry joinery. Accommodation includes two double cabins plus a dedicated workshop and utility cabin, which is a valuable addition for longer passages. In addition, 230V power is supplied to all cabins. A significant refit was completed in 2016, after which the yacht sailed to Portugal and has seen very little use since. Power is provided by a Nanni 5.280HE 62hp diesel engine. The yacht is also supplied with a new, unused 3D Tender 280 RIB, featuring Hypalon tubes and an aluminium double floor. Overall, this Bowman Starlight 46 presents as a well-sorted and capable cruising yacht. Because the major refit work has already been completed, she offers a straightforward ownership proposition.
