Brokers CommentsWow, wow, wow, this is a very special RIB. This Scorpion 8.1m RIB has to be the best example of this extremely capable and very sea worthy boat available. Presented in excellent condition and having had 2 major re-fits, including new Hypalon tubes in 2013, then new upholstery in 2018. Since then, it has also had 2 Raymarine Plotters & a VHF fitted . Additionally in 2013 it had a new Honda BF250 VTEC outboard that has still done less than 310 hours as well as new Stainless Steel A Frame and Deck Fittings, a Custom Carbon Fibre Dashboard & full Flexi-Teak decking throughout. With its GRP nose cone & solid build quality, this really is the full package. With its quiet, powerful yet very economical Honda Outboard it has the performance and speed that will appeal to the thrill seekers, but also provides a very solid and stable ride that can be enjoyed by families and friends at lower speeds. With 6 stylish Jockey Seats as well as a deep rear bench seat there is plenty of seating for everyone onboard. In addition, in the front of the console is the “Suicide “ seat for those that want the wind in the hair experience. Further forward is a good sized open deck area with inbuilt lockers as well as a further hatch locker in the bow. The whole deck & bathing platforms are fitted with Flexi-Teak synthetic teak decking in grey with grey caulking, giving it a comfortable feel underfoot & adding to its great looks. This, along with its Dark Grey Tubes & Seating, complimented by its clean white hull mean it is a RIB that will turn heads and be a boat to be proud of. The Scorpion 8.1m RIB with a beam of 2.17m mean that in our opinion, she is a very capable & very seaworthy boat. This particular boat has been kept in a dry stack & out of the water all its life and with all the re-fits and upgrades looks like an almost new boat in fantastic condition. It is currently lying Southampton.
