Description

SAOIRSE is a beautifully maintained, late-model 2002 example of the Sabre 362 series. It is rare, featuring the deeper keel option and a larger-than-standard Yanmar diesel engine. The spacious interior includes 2 cabins, a large head, and a stall shower, all crafted in cherry wood. Always based in Rhode Island and stored indoors most winters, she is a great boat and won’t last long on the brokerage market! The standing rigging was recently replaced. Woodworking details—rarely found even in high-priced custom yachts—abound in her luxurious interior. Dovetailed drawer boxes, louvered cabinet doors, and beautifully sculpted laminated trims demonstrate SABRE’s skill and commitment to quality craftsmanship. A varnished teak-and-holly sole runs throughout, contrasting nicely with the varnished mahogany interior. The spacious owner’s stateroom forward features a large V-berth, a vanity sink with a wood-framed mirror, and a convenient seat. To port is a large hanging locker. A full-sized deck hatch and two opening ports provide light and air to this comfortable space. To port in the main cabin is an aft-facing chart table at the aft end of a 6'4" settee. The nav station provides ample space for today’s sophisticated navigational electronics. To starboard is an L-shaped settee with a fold-up, bulkhead-mounted table. When opened, the leaf reaches the port settee, creating a large table for all your crew and guests. With the table folded up against the bulkhead, the salon becomes a wide-open and comfortable space in which to socialize or relax with a good book and your favorite music. The galley, aft to starboard, is well designed for an active cruising family. A double stainless-steel sink with a single lever mixing faucet is situated close to the centerline, so that it remains usable when underway. A deep, well-insulated refrigerator is found outboard of the sinks. There is ample room for your stores outboard and above the counter. A propane stove and oven with a stainless-steel safety bar is located at the aft corner of the galley space. The SABRE 362 offers a spacious head with a shower stall. This is a one-piece fiberglass unit that is both practical and easy to maintain. A bi-fold door separates the shower from the head compartment. The private aft cabin provides a comfortable space beneath the yacht’s cockpit sole. Storage spaces are found here for all the gear that you and your crew have brought along. The hanging locker, located at the forward end of this compartment—where you will find standing headroom—has a small seat in front of it.Deck EquipmentRig:Dutchman sail flaking system for mainsail.Tides Marine mainsail track.Hall Spars double spreader mast.Split backstay.Harken roller furling.Hall QuikVang.Spinnaker halyard. Winches: 2 x Self tailing Lewmar winches in cockpit.2 x Self tailing halyard winches on coach roof.Sails: Mainsail from Hathaway in Stamford, CT, with full battens and a sail track on the mast.Hathaway 140% genoa. General:Edson cockpit table. Anchoring & Mooring Equipment:Electric anchor windlass.35lb.
