Marketing Description The 2001 Bavaria 40 is a classic J&J Design cruising yacht that combines solid sailing performance with spacious comfort. At just over 40 feet in length, the yacht features a wide beam, generous cockpit, and practical deck layout that make it ideal for coastal cruising, Mediterranean chartering, or extended family sailing. "Golden Dawn" is powered by a Volvo Penta D-30 29hp inboard diesel engine which was new in 2014, and has three-cabin accommodation, two heads, offering comfortable sleeping space for up to eight people. Built with a strong fibreglass hull and fin keel, the Bavaria 40 delivers stable, forgiving handling under sail while remaining easy to manage short-handed.
