The Starlight 35 is rated by some as within the top three yachts of the 20th century. They are fast, fun, well built, sea kindly with a great interior and excellent cockpit, a fabulous boat all round. She is fitted with the deep fin keel giving a draught of around <b>1.8 metres</b> at light displacement.</p><h7>Sail Wardrobe</h7><p>Her sail wardrobe is comprehensive and consists of:</p><ul> <li>Cruising laminate tri-radial genoa</li> <li>Mainsail</li> <li>Unused storm jib</li> <li>Tri-sail</li> <li>Hank on number 3 genoa</li> <li>Spinnaker in a wounded condition</li></ul><h7>Engine</h7><p>The engine is a <b>Volvo Penta D1-30</b> installed new in <b>2007</b> and serviced on a yearly basis since, with the last service being in <b>2023</b>.</p><h7>Navigation and Communication Equipment</h7><p>Navigation and communication equipment is satisfactory and comprises of:</p><ul> <li>Raytheon ST60 Bidata</li> <li>Raymarine C120 multifunction display with radar</li> <li>ICS paper print out Navtex</li> <li>Garmin GPS</li> <li>ICOM DSC VHF base unit</li></ul><h7>Safety Equipment</h7><p>Safety equipment is supplemented with:</p><ul> <li>Viking 6 person life raft (next service due in <b>2026</b>)</li> <li>EPIRB</li> <li>SART</li></ul><h7>Comfort Features</h7><p>Pocketful is fitted with a <b>Mikuni diesel fired warm air heater</b> to improve the winter months comfort rating.
