Description
Built in 1999, LUNA OF PLYMOUTH is a superb example of the Sweden Yachts 45. Now in her second ownership, she has been lovingly maintained and recently updated. The Sweden 42 and 45 models are widely regarded as top performance cruisers, combining elegant design, Swedish craftsmanship, and a fast, sea-kindly hull. On deck, the 45 offers a powerful yet easily managed rig with all lines led aft to powered winches, a spacious cockpit, and ample storage. Below deck, there are three double cabins, fore and aft heads, a comfortable saloon, a large forward-facing navigation station, and an L-shaped galley — all finished in satin-varnished mahogany with updated leather upholstery. A truly outstanding yacht, ready for thrilling performance and exceptional comfort on your next voyage.ConstructionRCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate) Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction: GRP deck with end grain balsa core sandwich using fibre glass mat and rovings on both sides, giving a light, rigid and well insulated hull. GRP hull balsa core is used from toe rail to below water line. Solid laminate is used in high stress areas around keel, mast foot and in the joint between the hull-halves. Bottom reinforcements are longitudinal and transversal solid laminate design.Deck laid in synthetic teak both ring deck and cockpit.Blue vinyl wrap on hull with white gel below.Copper coat September 2021.All anodes replaced 2023, prop anodes Oct 2024.
