Description

The VR 47 is a boat for connoisseurs, with a limited number of units produced and rare models available on the market! This yacht boasts an extremely simple rig, designed to ensure high speeds and maximum maneuverability with a reduced crew, without compromising comfort while sailing.Built in 1999, this vessel offers excellent performance both under sail and motor, ease of maneuvering, and great stability. With only 2 owners since her launching in 2000, Taonana has always been used privately, never for charters or regattas. In 2014/2015 her second owner completely refitted and upgraded her with a view to creating an ultra-light, ultra-fast short-handed cruising yacht. Thanks to her carbon/Kevlar composite construction coupled with her powerful, yet easily managed fully-battened rig, TAONANA now offers blistering performance on all points of sail.GERMAN FRERS CUSTOM DESIGN Designed by German Frers, originally constructed in Italy in late 1999 and launched in 2000 CONSTRUCTION Hybrid construction with glass and Kevlar laminates and carbon reinforcements Hull painted in light grey and covered in Matterhorn White Allgrip Anti-skid painted decks (no teak to maintain) Ultrasonic antifouling Keel stepped rig with swept-back spreaders Cutter rig with aluminium mast and three sets of backstays towards the stern eliminating the need for runners. 3 cabin, 2 heads interior layout with remodelled saloon, large galley, chart table, dedicated wet locker and fantastic forward owner´s cabin.
