LAZAWAY is a comprehensively equipped 1998 example of the evergreen, and justifiably popular, Grand Banks 42 motor yacht. With the best aft cabin available at this length, an exceptionally good wheelhouse deck, and superb machinery access, the Grand Banks 42 is perhaps the most practical passagemaker ever penned, and LAZAWAY is a particularly well set up vessel. Saloon:Steps lead up to the light and comfortable wheelhouse/saloon which consists of the helm position and a large L-shaped dinette lounge aft to starboard, bar with extra top-loading portable refrigerator fitted to bar in lieu of original ice maker, and a galley set forward to port, with aft return for refrigerator and affording extra worktop area.Entertainment system including TV, DVD, radio, cassette, and CD equipment. Galley:Galley area equipped with an electric oven, electric hob, fitted microwave, stainless steel sink, large fridge with freezer compartment, and storage lockers.Galley sink and work top are Corian.Plumbing for washer/drier (appliance not fitted). Owner’s Aft Cabin:Steps down to a spacious aft cabin offering an offset island queen size berth, dressing table, numerous storage and hanging lockers and access to separate en-suite shower and heads compartments.
