Description

The Trident Voyager 40 is a well respected long distance cruiser which is rare to market. The famed duo Bill Dixon and Angus Primrose have designed a proper sailing yacht offering spacious and comfortable accommodation combined with the abiliy to cope in poor weather conditions. She is easily handled under sail or power and is suited to blue water or coastal cruising by a short-handed crew. This yacht has been well maintained through it's current ownership of 20 years, and constantly updated. New Raymarine electronic navigation in 2022 and 2023 for example. She is well equipped and ready to sail away.HullHull No: V40/099GRP superstructure and hullEncapsulated long keelSkeg hung rudderVetus electric bow thrusterHydraulic wheel steeringBilge pumps1 x Whaly manual1 x Manual/electric1 x Electric/AutoEngine Seacock DZR - New 2021All other seacocks Marelon composite throughoutAntifouled - May 2025Anodes for hull and bow thruster- New May 2025EngineVolvo MD 22 LB 4 cylinder 50 HPVolvo Penta MS2 gearboxAnnually serviced - Last service June 2025Alternator - Serviced February 2023Cam belt and tension bearings - New February 20232 Racor filters - New July 2025Heavy duty fuel cleaning system - New August 2025Engine hours not recorded2 x 55 litre steel fuel tanksStainless steel propellor shaft – water lubricated3 Blade fixed propellorRope cutterElectrics12 V and 110V and 220V systems2 x 200 Ah Domestic batteries - New 20231 x 175 Ah Engine battery - New 20232 x Lithium Auxiliary batteries - New 2022Charging byAlternatorDuoGen wind/water generator4 x Solar power total 400amp1 x Solar panel 180amp2 MPPT Charge controller1 Eco Worthy Charge controller230v Shore powerSails & RiggingBermudan sloopSeldon Stainless mast and sparsSteel riggingIn mast Lucas mainsail - Sail No GBR 636ITFurling Challenge Genoa 8.88oz cloth - New March 2017Radar ReflectorSail carsSelf tacking forsail equipment on deck - not currently in useLewmar Winches2 x 44 CS Sheet winches1 x 30 CS Halyard winchNavigations Suite at HelmsatationRaymarine Axiom 9 - New 2022Charts/RadarAIS Digital Yacht TX - New 2023Garmin GPSmaps 451Raymarine speed log - New 2022Raymarine wind log - New 2022Raymarine auto pilotRaytheon Rudder helmSuunto CompassNavigation lights - Mast light LED - New 2025Air hornDay shapesNavigations Suite at Navigation StationGarmin Raythron RL70 Pathfinder RadarRaytheon Smart Pilot AutohelmRaymarine Depth/Speed/Log - New 2022iCOM ICM59 VHF Radio with helm speakeriCOM IC M940 VHF Handheld AIS compatible - New 2023AccommodationStanding headroom throughoutEberspacher diesel heating to all cabinsPressurised hot and cold freshwater system with calorifierWater capacity 100 litres in 2 stainless steel tanksWooden joinery throughoutLED lighting throughoutNavigation Station to portLarge forward facing navigation tableNavigator seatDesk lightDesk tidyGoodmans Radio/CDSaloonSpacious and full width of the vesselBench settee to portU shaped seating to starboard with fixed tableAmple stowageShips clock and barometerTVGalley to Port with added entrance from cockpitStainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold waterNeptune 45003 Burner hob, grill & ovenMicrowave - New 20232 x 240 V Fridge freezers2 x Mobile 240 & 12 V Fridge freezersAmple stowageOwners Cabin – AftLarge aft cabin with double berthHanging locker and dresser with drawers and mirrorAmple stowagePrivate HeadsJabsco marine toiletSink with hot and cold mixer tapShowerVanity unit with stowageFore CabinV-Berth with infill to convert to doubleHatch to foredeckWardrobe and lockers offering ample stowageHeads to portJabsco marine toiletSink with hot and cold mixer tapSeparate shower areaVanity unit with stowageCrew Cabin to starboard2 x Single berths with upholstered cushionsWardrobeCurrently used as stowageCockpitDivided to Aft and Centre cockpitHelm station withHydraulic wheel steeringNavigation aidsBow thruster controlsEngine controlsEngine panel dialsRemote windlass controlsSprayhoodBiminiHalf and full cockpit canopy which is paneled and zippedWinter coverDodgers2 Cockpit locker1 x Gas lockerTransom gate opensSwim platformBoarding ladderTransom shower housingDavitsHighfiled 290 aluminum floor inflatable dinghy8hp auxiliary engine - Serviced annuallyDanbuoyOn DeckDecks painted in 2024JackstaysStainless steel pulpitLewmar electric windlassFoot controls at bowRemote control from helmRocna 15 Kg anchor with 200ft of galvanised chainDanforth kedge anchorAluminum toe railsStanchions and guard wireMooring cleats forward, aft and midshipsMooring lines Fenders and warpsAdditional EquipmentDrying legsDisclaimer : Pembrokeshire Yacht Sales Ltd offers the details of this vessel for sale but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of the information contained in the specification or warrant the condition of the vessel or equipment.
