Description
Remarks :Dreamers Reality is a 1997 Hardy Seawings 305 — a well-regarded British-built hard-top sports cruiser designed by A. Wolstenholme and constructed by Hardy Marine in Norfolk, UK. A practical and purposeful design, the Seawings 305 combines twin Volvo Penta diesel inboard Z-drives with a robust hard-top arrangement and a comfortable two-cabin layout suited to a couple or small group. Now offered for sale under German registration, she presents in very good condition following a consistent programme of upgrades and maintenance by her current owner. Dreamers Reality has benefited from a significant number of recent improvements, including new solar panels (2021), a new aluminium anchor and 60m chain (2021), a new aft cockpit enclosure with windows (2022), a roll cover for the cockpit roof (2022), a new water tank in PE (2023), an aluminium gangway (2023), and a new aft table (2023). The saloon upholstery, carpet, and aft deck upholstery have all been renewed, and the hull is protected with Coppercoat long-life antifoul. A 3.7m aluminium RIB tender with Suzuki 5hp outboard is included in the sale. Highlights Listed below but included in Full Specs: British-built by Hardy Marine — hard-top sports cruiser Twin Volvo Penta AD31P-A diesel inboards, 150hp each — approximately 945 hours Volvo Penta DP-D1 290 Z-drives (1997) Coppercoat long-life antifoul Solar panels: 2 x 200W (2021) New Rocna anchor 15kg with 60m x 10mm chain (2021) New aft cockpit enclosure with windows (2022) New water tank in PE (2023) New aluminium gangway (2023) Saloon upholstery, carpet, and aft deck upholstery — all renewed 2 fridges (one new 2021) Diesel hot-air heating Dinghy: Future Wave 3.7m aluminium RIB (2020) with Suzuki 5hp (2021) — included German registration (ADAC Bootsschein) — valid to October 2026 BROKER'S REMARKS Dreamers Reality is a well-found and thoughtfully updated sports cruiser that rewards careful inspection. Hardy Marine built a reputation for quality and practicality over many years, and the Seawings 305 is a genuinely capable coastal motor boat: the hard-top keeps the helm position sheltered in all conditions, the twin Volvo Penta diesel Z-drives are a proven combination, and the layout below works well for a couple afloat for a week or more. The current owner has invested consistently in keeping the motor boat in good order and improving her specification. The list of recent works is substantial: new solar panels, a new anchor and chain, a full aft cockpit enclosure, renewed interior upholstery and carpet, a new water tank, aluminium gangway, and Coppercoat applied to the hull. These are the actions of an owner who takes upkeep seriously, and the condition of the vessel reflects that. With approximately 945 hours on the engines, a well-equipped specification, and the tender and outboard included in the sale, Dreamers Reality represents a sensible and practical package. Early viewing is recommended.
