Description
Sturdy, seaworthy trawler built by American Marine, the pioneer of trawler motor yachts. The Grand Banks semi-displacement hull with fine entry, deep V-shaped bottom profile and broad waterline in the aft section has proven itself worldwide: Grand Banks yachts are highly seaworthy vessels that will not let their crew down even in the roughest conditions. Above the waterline, the Grand Banks 46 Motor Yacht has a very traditional, heavy duty appearance with vertical stem, angular deck saloon with steep front windows and a large, open aft deck. Wide running decks with high bulwarks, easy access to the flybridge and uncluttered deck spaces ensure safe and easy movement and provide ample room for generous outside lounging areas. Bright and cosy saloon with 360° panoramic views in the large deckhouse. The raised aft deck of the “Motor Yacht”-version of the Grand Banks 46 creates space for an exceptionally spacious, luxurious full-beam owner’s cabin aft with en suite bathroom. Solid, high-quality interior joinery in satin-finished teak with extensive use of solid timber in mouldings and trims. The vessel on offer is a Grand Banks 46 Motor Yacht built in 1997 with the powerful CATERPILLAR 375 hp inboard diesels. At approx. 1.400 rpm, the trawler cruises comfortably at around nine knots. At full throttle, the yacht reaches a top speed of up to 16 knots depending on weather conditions. Well-equipped private owner’s yacht featuring hydraulic stabilisers, diesel generator, air conditioning and diesel heating, hydraulic gangway, extended swim platform, etc. Interior layout with lower galley to port forward and optional additional access door from the saloon to the aft deck. The Grand Banks 46 is moored in northern Germany on the coast of the Baltic Sea and can be viewed at any time by prior appointment.
