The Bill Dixon designed Moody 38 centre cockpit grabbed the attention of the yachting press when launched in January 2000. Capturing the desirable attributes of earlier Moody centre cockpit designs the Moody 38CC was an evolution delivering a more performance-orientated hull form with longer waterline increasing average speeds for quicker passagemaking while retaining the stiff and stable nature of earlier designs.
