Description

Boat Overview The Sovereign range was built in Dartmouth by Western Approaches yachts, which later became Sovereign Yachts. The design brief for the Sovereign deck saloon was ".... to be a fast cruising vessel with classic good looks but with modern beam/length ratio, providing accommodation in three separate sleeping cabins without using the saloon". The yacht features a long fin keel with a bulbed foot carrying lead ballast, and a skeg-supported semi-balanced spade rudder. Condition and Usage This is a fabulous example, well looked after and is a well sailed boat by an experienced single-handed sailor. It has a substantial sail wardrobe and is well equipped with electronic and navigational equipment. The layout is well thought out, providing ample space inside and out.
