Sadler Starlight 35 (1991) designed by Stephen Jones. A very well equipped example of this classic sturdy cruiser, set up for long term liveaboard sailing, Med & Atlantic Coast. Major re-fit 2016.
Fin keel, 1.8m draft, Hull copper coated, wheel steering, Seacocks replaced 2016. Powered by Volvo Penta 2030 30hp engine (from 2005) approx. 2,500 hrs, shaft drive to 2 bladed folding prop. Lofrans electric anchor, 15kg Rocna anchor with 65m chain (new chain 2024). An abundance of safety equipment. Dinghy with outboard, Life raft, EPIRB.
Standing rigging (2016) Extensive sail wardrobe incl Full battened Main (2016) furling Genoa (2012), #3 Genoa, spinnaker, cruising chute, storm jib, yankee. Comprehensive integrated navigation equipment incl Raymarine E120 / E80 plotters, Pathfinder radar scanner, Autopilot, 5 x ST60 units, VHF incl GPS. Electrics package Nasa battery monitor, 3 x 110ah batteries, shore power, solar panel.
Accom for 4/6 throughout including double forward cabin, double aft cabin and possible saloon berths.

A major refit was undertaken in 2016 at the Baltic Wharf in Totnes, UK. Further upgrades and maintenance have been made annually. All of the major work was undertaken by professional craftsmen. The work has included:
