Seaworthy, practical and easy-to-handle cruiser built by the Norwegian yard Sandviks Båtbyggeri. The Sandvik 920 Thermo earned a solid reputation not only as a reliable cruising motor yacht, but also as a rugged workboat and a popular choice among hobby fishermen, thanks to her sturdy construction and reliable engineering. The uninterrupted 360° visibility from the wheelhouse and the additional outside helm station in the cockpit make her an ideal vessel for a small crew or even single-handed sailing. Her semi-displacement hull with shaft drive ensures excellent course stability at slow speed, yet with the largest available engine option – a VOLVO PENTA 230 hp diesel – she reaches a top speed of 16 knots. A solid steel grounding guard protects both propeller and rudder, making the Sandvik 920 Thermo suitable for shallow coastal waters and tidal cruising grounds.This is a well-equipped owner’s yacht built in 1990.
