Description
NIMBUS 35 DC IN TOP CONDITION - ONLY 1000 ENGINE HOURS, REFURBISHED AT 600 ENGINE HOURS. Here you get a Nimbus 35 DC, which you rarely see in such a nice and well-maintained condition on the used boat market. The Swedish Nimbus boats are known for their high quality and refined sailing characteristics and this Nimbus 35 DC from 1989 is no exception. The boat has a large boat platform aft with shower, if you open to the cockpit there is a large U-shaped sofa and table in the middle, which is covered with a canopy, which is from 2023 and ordered from Eliasson in Sweden who made canopies for Nimbus. In the front of the cockpit there is a skipper's place with space for two sailors who can follow the course set. Instrumentation is of newer and updated vintage, with all dials and instruments replaced in 2024. Under deck, you have a large salon with an L-sofa, a lovely elongated table on the port side. On the starboard side you have a pantry with a double sink, 2 alcohol burners, a microwave from 2024 and with 2 refrigerators, from 2020 the aft of which can be made into a freezer at the same time as cupboard space. In the forward cabin there is good space for 2 sleepers. However, the current owner has used the aft cabin as their bedroom. All mattresses in the boat have been replaced with thicker ones, to provide great comfort. In addition, there is a toilet with shower and electric toilet from 2024, which goes directly to the boat's holding tank, which is 40L. The holding tank is equipped with a macerator pump for emptying into the sea. Switch for land discharge which can be locked. This Nimbus is equipped with 2 x Volvo Penta AQAD 41A, Diesel, with 200 HP /pc. which has a consumption of approx. 60L/hour at 24 knots. The maximum speed for the boat is 30 knots. Both drives are DP290 with dop-plug with flawless propellers from 2020. Spare propellers are also included. The trim/tilt cylinders on both drives have been replaced in 2021 with newer and better types.Bow thruster with remote control, and own battery that is charged from engines.Turbos are upgraded with new ones in 2024 for better lift and less smoke, as well as slightly more HP.Stainless inserts have been added to the exhaust side of the turbos. The engines have been looked after and cared for according to all regulations and were completely refurbished 700 engine hours ago. Exhausts from 2019 with plastic at the top to avoid corrosion in the transition between turbo and exhaust. Exhaust temperature gauges are mounted on both machines with a display in the cockpit.Power steering and pump have been replaced in 2021.The following are worth mentioning about the boat:- Crankshaft ventilation with oil separator has been fitted in 2020.- A SuperFlush freshwater flushing system is fitted to both engines, which is accessed from the aft platform.- Engines are flushed EVERY time they have been driven, so there is not a hint of dirt/limescale in them. The same flushing system makes it super easy to winter preserve the machines and descale the lake water side, which is done at regular intervals.- Heat exchangers and oil coolers are separated and cleaned in 2023, where the intercoolers have also been given new guts.- There is hot domestic water from engines (as well as from electric cartridge).- An "analogue" oil pressure gauge is fitted in the engine compartment, should the electrics fail.- Land current with isolating transformer (4000 watts) installed in 2024.- An earth plate was installed in 2024, so together with the isolation transformer, the boat is 100% galvanically isolated.- HPFI relay is connected to the ground plate.- 3000 watt inverter with remote control display which can be connected to the shore current.- Cristec LifePo4 charger with 4 outputs (2 x consumption. 2 x start) and display for control.- LifePo consumption batteries from 2024 of 2 x 200 ah (can lie too sway for two days without problems) with battery gauges in wheelhouse.- 2 starter batteries from 2020.- DC to DC charger from starter batteries for consumption, while sailing. from 2024. All 12V. contacts have been changed in 2024.- Orca navigation that runs on iPad (iPad not included).- Sonar with side view.- Autopilot which is connected to Orca via NMEA (the boat itself sails according to route).- Alarm system for SIM card, remote control and by phone.- Heating system from 2024 - diesel, air, 4kW. in all rooms. Remote control for SIM card. Can be controlled from mobile.- There are 220V sockets in all rooms and in the engine room. Everything is secured with HpFi.- 5G router for SIM card with external antenna.- 250L. fresh water tank with filter system and ozone purification, so the water is ready to drink.- Fresh water tank cleaned in 2024.- 2 x 350L Diesel tanks, where the heating system draws from SB tank. There is no moisture/diesel pest in the diesel tanks- Electric windlass with chain.- All cushions - inside and out - are professionally reupholstered in 2023.- All woodwork is varnished in 2023.- Hot/cold water in all taps and on the bathing platform.- Water heater of 40L from 2019.- The front cabin has "springs" under the mattress to avoid moisture.- Two electric bilge pumps in sump.- Drain bolt aft, so that all water can be drained out via sump during winter storage.- In winter, the boat has had a dehumidifier running 24/7, so it is odor and moisture free.- 220V is installed. electric heating pipes in the cabin, and one is also available for the engine compartment to keep the boat frost-free in winter.- All sea valves are composite.
