Description

The Dutch boat builder Conyplex have been producing yachts under the Contest brand name for more than 55 years. The designer Dick Zall, has enjoyed a long relationship with the Contest brand and has drawn most of the models since the 1970’s. Built in a traditional style the Contest yachts boast a high quality finish and fine joinery work below decks comparable with the major Scandinavian builders. With her current owners since 2006 the Contest 41 ANNA MAE has proven to be the ideal short handed cruising yacht with her current owners spending much of their time afloat with just two aboard; exploring the waters of Scotland’s west coast. Having become part of the family ANNA MAE is now reluctantly offered for sale. Her inventory highlights including: Original gelcoat finish on topsides Cast iron wing keel Volvo Penta MD31A (60hp) marine diesel engine Brunton Autoprop, 3 blade, bronze feathering prop Fisher Panda 4000S PMS (4.2KVA) marine diesel generator Sleipner bow thruster Engine and domestic batteries replaced 2022/23 Garmin autopilot system Garmin GPSmap7408 MFD plotter / radar display Garmin GMI 10 navigation instrument displays x3 Garmin AIS600 Class B Transceiver Lowrance Link 8 DSC VHF Webasto diesel fired blown air heating system Furlex 300E electric roller reefing system for genoa Andersen 54 electric primary winches North Sails Nordac mainsail and genoa fitted in 2018 Sprayhood and cockpit tent fitted new in 2021 Wintering ashore in Creran Marine the Contest 41 ANNA MAE is available for immediate viewing by appointment.
