1987 Sadler 32

The Sadler 32 is the successor to the highly successful and legendary Contessa 32. Designer David Sadler set out to create a cruiser/racer with improved sailing performance, greater stability and enhanced comfort. Approximately 300 units of this model were built. The hull is characterized by its elegant, flowing lines and timeless appearance. This particular Sadler 32 has been in the ownership of the current owner since 1998, who has maintained the yacht with care and has kept her as close to original condition as possible. Naturally, the necessary maintenance has been carried out. Around seven years ago, the windows were removed and resealed, and the cockpit teak was re-caulked. In 2024, the seawater pump was overhauled, and in 2025 the yacht was taken ashore for maintenance to the underwater hull. Sail handling is carried out from the cockpit using winches. Steering with the tiller is direct and responsive, contributing to the sporty sailing characteristics of the yacht. The headsails are traditionally hanked on, and there is no furling system installed. The navigation equipment on board is dated and not fully operational, which should be taken into consideration.A customs declaration is included with the yacht.

InteriorThe interior of the Sadler 32 is warm and inviting, featuring solid teak joinery that gives the yacht a classic and timeless feel. The saloon offers a comfortable seating area that can be converted into a wide berth. Thanks to the footwell extension, the berth length is ample, making it particularly suitable for resting during night passages. The settee also provides an additional berth. To starboard, next to the companionway, is the chart table. Aft of this area is a spacious quarter berth, with the head of the berth also serving as seating for the chart table. To port is the galley, equipped with a gimballed stove with oven/grill, a top-loading compressor cool box and a sink. An additional connection near the sink allows for the use of a hose, which can be convenient for deck wash-down or rinsing after swimming. In the forepeak, there is a spacious V-berth suitable for two persons. Between the saloon and the front cabin, to port, is a heads compartment with a marine toilet and washbasin. To starboard, there is a practical hanging locker for storing sailing gear. This yacht is not equipped with a hot water system or fixed heating. However, shore power (220V) is available on board.
