Description

The MGC 27 was designed by Ron Humphries as an upgrade from his Contessa 26/27 designs. They have earned the reputation as capable fast, that have the speed to compete successful in club racing.Rondo's is the more sort after lifting keel version . With her keel up she draws just .80m allowing her to explore thee shallowest of cruising grounds but with it down she has great windward performance with a 1.79m draft. She has been very well maintained by her present owner her Volvo penta has engine pushes her through the water with ease and has been serviced regularly. She sleeps 4-6 people in comfort in her 3 cabins. All lines lead aft to cockpit which combined with the cockpit traveller make her very easy to sail short or single handed. She is a well balanced boat that is a joy to sail. She is available to view in Christchurch seven days a week.
