Description

Elan 33 for sale here at Hamble Point Marina. Freya was purchased in The Netherlands in Autumn 2014. The current owner has up-graded and maintained to allow him to cruise safely to SW France, The Netherlands, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, The west country, Scillies, Brittany and The Channel Islands. The Elan 33 is a popular boat with very good sailing performance from the renowned Elan Yachts stable. The boat is based on an IOR three quarter ton prototype with the first The Elan 33 launched in 1987. Designed by J and J Design who are known for designing easy-sailing and fast family boats, with a well-thought-out deck layout and below deck interior. The cockpit is large and comfortable. All halyards are led back to the cockpit. The cockpit has an integrated swimming platform. Below deck the boat has a spacious layout with a nice saloon, galley and nav station. As well as a spacious toilet and aft cabin for two as well as a double bed in the bow. This model has fairly new sails (Main 2020, Self tacking jib 2022 and Roller Furling Genoa 2023) and Engine (2017) with an interior that concentrates on the saloon leaving the ends light, i.e. minimal interior linings in forecabin and aft cabin.
