Description

1986 Maurice Griffiths Barbican 33, long keel with lifting plate, fitted out to an exceptional standard and launched in 1990, fully equipped for cruising including plotter, radar, hot water, fridge and heating! BARBICAN 33, QUALITY OFFSHORE CRUISING YACHT FEATURES Interior upholstery renewed 2024 Cockpit cushions in dark blue 2024 Moulded in 1986 by The Barbican Yacht Construction Co. And the fitting out was completed by her first owner and launched in October 1990. GRP construction with white topsides and superstructure, aft cockpit, bermudan sloop rig, long keel with lifting plate. Tiller steering with a skeg hung rudder. Extra internal ballast in the form of lead ingots bonded to the hull sole. The underwater area of the hull was epoxy coated from new. The centre-plate was replaced in 2010 when the hull was treated with Coppercoat antifouling.
