This Trident Marine Voyager 38 has been in the same family ownership since new. Which is a testament to their appeal and qualities. The Voyager 38 is the deck saloon version of the aft cockpit Trident Warrior 38. These boats are well renowned for their sturdy quality construction. A boat that will look after you through thick and thin. Original gelcoat in very good condition. Deck with Treadmaster panels. Substantial fin keel. Partial skeg hung rudder. Internal and external steering. The internal steering is not functioning but it is understood this could be reinstated by a new owner. Rudder replaced. Blue antifouling. Interior & accommodation 8 berths in three cabins including the deck saloon and two heads. Teak interior. Solid Teak and Teak faced marine ply. Light blue upholstery in good condition. Eberspacher diesel fired warm air central heating. Forward cabin V berth with infill to create a double berth when required. Under berth storage. Raised hull side door fronted storage lockers. Hanging locker to port. Two coachroof windows and a central opening deck hatch. Bunk cabin To starboard is a lovely bunk cabin. Two good sized bunks. Storage lockers on the hull side above the upper bunk. Integrated hanging locker and vanity cabined. Coachroof windows and skylight. Forward heads / shower Situated to port in forward corridor linking the two cabins. Manual marine toilet. Square stainless steel inset sink with mixer tap. Storage lockers. Separate, full height shower with mixer control and seat. The seat has a teak slatted top which is removable and the floors have teak slatted grates. Deck saloon / wheelhouse This is one of the key features of this style of boat. Giving panoramic views. 3 x windows forward, two each side and two aft. The helm station is to port. This steering has been disconnected but can be reinstated. Port side settee, central, folding leaf table and starboard side L shaped settee. The settee's are long enough to provide two extra berths when required. Galley Super secure U shaped galley aft to port. Flavell Vanessa, gimballed gas cooker with 2 burners, grill and oven. Waeco CX 050 front opening fridge. 2018. Top loading cool box. 2 x round stainless steel sinks with mixer tap. Dedicated storage for table wear. General storage for galley equipment nd provisions. Navigation station To starboard aft. Forward facing good sized chart table with internal storage. Storage in the pedestal. Dedicated seat. The ships electrical distribution panel is sited here. Aft cabin Double berth to port. Hull side storage lockers above the berth. Central storage unit. En-suite heads to starboard with manual marine toilet, square stainless steel basin with mixer tap. There is a teak slatted floor grate. Deck / equipment Deck Good wide side decks with Treadmaster for grip. Secured by a substantial stainless steel pulpit, two lower guard wires running aft through stanchion posts to the pushpit. Safety is enhanced by a higher third guard wire running from a tall stainless steel legged post forward via taller stanchion posts to the 3 tier pushpit. The pushpit has an opening gate to starboard. Deep aft cockpit with wheel steering. The internal steering has been disconnected but can be reinstated. Equipment Electric anchor windlass with warping drum. Harbourfast Hi-Blade 45 anchor with 38m x 10mm chain. Mooring warps and fenders. Rig, sails & sail handling Silver anodised main and mizzen mast and booms. Original standing rigging in good visible condition. Easyreef in-mast roller reefing mainsail system. Selden Furlex 300s roller furling headsail system. Sails Main and Genoa. No mizzen. Sails are serviceable but may be considered for replacement. Winches 2 x Lewmar 46 2 speed primary winches. Lewmar 7 single speed & Lewmar 30 2 speed main mast winches. Lewmar 7 single speed - Mizzen Lewmar 7 single speed - Genoa furling line. Lewmar 25 2 speed mainsail furling. Engine Volvo Penta MD30A, 62hp diesel engine. Rebuilt in 2019. Rebuilt to future proof by an RN engineer. Top end inspection, no issues found. Any parts considered worth replacing were, including a new starter motor, new custom made stainless steel exhaust elbow made, new sump. Unfortunately no invoice as it was done by a friend and parts purchased on request by the owner who doesn't have the receipts now. Pressurised hot and cold water system. Safety gear & equipment Navigation lighting. Plastimo 6 person ORC liferaft, purchased 2021. Next service Sept 2024. Mounted in pushpit cradle. Horeseshoe life buoy. Automatic and manual bilge pumps.
