Accommodation Accommodation for up to 8 people in 2 cabins plus the saloon.Access to the accommodation is via the companionway from the centre cockpit, leading directly into the spacious saloon area. Immediately to starboard is the well-appointed galley, designed for comfortable use both at sea and in harbour. The galley is equipped with twin stainless-steel sinks supplied with hot and cold pressurised water, Isotherm top loading fridge with freezer compartment, a Neptune 5000 gas cooker incorporating a three-burner hob, grill and oven, together with a microwave oven. Extensive lockers, cupboards and shelving provide generous storage for provisions, cookware and galley equipment. Additional fridge unit located behind the chart table area.Opposite the galley to port is a dedicated navigation station featuring a large forward-facing chart table. The navigation area is fitted with a Raymarine C90W GPS Chartplotter multifunction display, Icom M505 DSC VHF radio with remote Command Mic III, Simrad RT1400 VHF radio, and a Class B AIS transceiver, providing a comprehensive suite of navigation and communication equipment.Forward of the galley and navigation station is the spacious main saloon. A centreline dining table with folding drop leaves is surrounded by comfortable seating to both port and starboard. The saloon has been designed to maximise sleeping accommodation, with both settee backrests lifting to form upper pilot berths fitted with lee cloths, creating a total of four large single berths within the saloon. Numerous lockers, shelving units and storage compartments are provided throughout.The forward cabin is located ahead of the saloon and offers comfortable accommodation for guests. To port is the ensuite heads compartment, while to starboard are storage cupboards and lockers. The cabin features a large V-berth with an infill section, allowing the arrangement to be configured as either two single berths or one generous double berth. Additional storage is provided by a hanging locker and further cupboards.The forward heads compartment comprises a washbasin with hot and cold water, a Jabsco manual marine toilet, and a separate shower compartment.The aft owner's cabin is accessed via a passageway on the port side, aft of the navigation station. This private owners cabin includes an ensuite heads compartment fitted with a washbasin and Jabsco manual marine toilet connected to a holding tank. The sleeping accommodation is arranged in a V-berth configuration with an infill section that converts the berths into a large double berth. The cabin also benefits from a hanging locker, storage cupboards and numerous stowage areas.The engine is installed beneath the cockpit sole and is accessed through a large side-opening service hatch below deck, providing excellent access for routine maintenance and inspection.The interior is finished in traditional Hallberg-Rassy style with varnished mahogany joinery and matching side panelling throughout. Blue upholstery complements the warm timber finish, while cherry and holly flooring extends throughout the accommodation. Construction Hallberg-Rassy 42E centre cockpit cruising yacht designed by Enderlein and built by Hallberg-Rassy Varvs AB, Sweden, in 1984. Build # 85Hand-laid GRP (glass reinforced plastic) hull of solid laminate construction below the waterline, heavily built to Hallberg-Rassy's renowned Scandinavian offshore cruising standards. The hull is finished with a white gelcoat and incorporates a distinctive blue sheer stripe. Hull-to-deck joint is mechanically fastened and bonded, providing exceptional structural integrity and watertight security.The deck, coachroof and cockpit are moulded in GRP with balsa-cored sandwich construction to provide strength, rigidity and thermal insulation while minimising weight aloft. Side decks are protected by substantial teak toe rails and stainless-steel stanchions supporting double stainless-steel guard wires. Teak decking was replaced in 2006.A deep, secure centre cockpit provides excellent protection for crew when offshore, with high coamings and substantial grab rails. The cockpit is self-draining and fitted with large locker spaces and dedicated gas bottle storage. Teak grating to cockpit sole.The yacht features a long fin keel with encapsulated ballast, providing excellent directional stability and offshore performance. A fully protected skeg-hung rudder offers additional strength, directional control and protection against grounding damage.The interior structure is extensively bonded to the hull, with substantial bulkheads and furniture components forming part of the vessel's overall structural integrity. Traditional Hallberg-Rassy craftsmanship is evident throughout, with varnished mahogany joinery and high-quality timber fit-out.All deck hardware is through-bolted with backing plates where required. Stainless-steel stemhead fitting, bow roller assembly, pulpits, pushpits and boarding arrangements are designed for long-distance cruising and offshore use.The vessel was designed and constructed as a blue-water cruising yacht, combining robust construction, seaworthiness, comfort and long-range cruising capability.*Ashore in March 2026 for hull antifouling and anode replacement.
